ORCHESTRA DEDICATED

Krakow's underground with its hovels, cellars and burrows is The place where you can listen Jazz Music within Old City limits. There you can meet pianist, arranger, composer and bandleader Wojtek Groborz presenting his projects; partially dormant Klinikum Brazilikum, Collegium Latina, Symptomatic Jazz, and fully active Groborz Trio and quartet Paceline 4 and the newest addiction Orchestra Dedicated. Last March, Groborz presented a program titled "Wojciech Groborz — From the Trio to Septet" for Jazz concerts series organized by NOSPR. Very warm welcome by audience motivated artist to continue idea of 4-horn ensemble. Band plays almost every Wednesday night at Krakow's Jazz Club U Muniaka.

  • Our Pledge to great, late Janusz Muniak, our long-time mentor, Master Musician, founder of Jazz cellar U Muniaka.
  • We all are dedicated to the Music. After the choice we made, whole rest of our lives we are egaged into tones, notes and sounds.
  • Musicians shouldn't forget about their patrons, this other side, which is the main reason to perform publicly. Dedication No. 3 is for audience, to make our efforts intelligibile.

  • GROBORZ – lead, piano and writings
    More than forty years of experience as the pianist, bandleader and sideman. Follower of Barry Harris.

Mobirise

Wojtek Groborz is a very active Jazz piano player, arranger, composer and educator with more than forty years of experience. Follower of Barry Harris.
Active booster of Be Bop Jazz style and music of Duke Ellington. He is known as the leader of own groups of large variety of size - from the trio to the big band. Played with Extra Ball of great late Jaroslaw Śmietana, Janusz Muniak, Jan Ptaszyn Wróblewski, Henryk Majewski, Leszek Żądło (Zadlo) and many others. From 1987 cooperates with the oldest existing Jazz group of Poland, Jazz Band Ball Orchestra. He has performed in Europe and the US, where he studied, among others, with Hal Galper and Barry Harris. Active arranger, composer and educator. He teaches and conducts big band at His Alma mater; Academy of Music in Krakow at the Department of Contemporary Music, Jazz and Percussion.

WE’RE A FULL SERVICE ESTABLISHMENT

Orchestra Dedicated, established in 2017. We cater to ladies and gentlemen pleasure and joy of solid, stylish sound played by 7-piece jazz ensemble. Our premium services provide people of ​all ages, that unforgettable listening experience.

Our Music, carefully arranged, and in big part composed by bandleader represents strong influences of Be Bop era. 

Being fully dedicated to the Music, far from problems of the so-called show business, and consequently, we built good mood inside the team. Furthermore, passing this climate on to the audience is one of the foundations of our action.

Attention:
Sometime, especially during Summer, it's no way to get together the whole band. But every Wednesday night You can attend club concert with the quality Jazz Music provided by some of us.
